Downtown accounting firm, Wall, Einhorn & Chernitzer, P. C. (WEC), is pleased to announce the promotion of Adam A. Holcombe, CPA to the position of manager in the accounting and auditing department. Holcombe joined the firm in 2012 as a staff accountant following an internship, and as a result of his talent and dedication, this is his third promotion.
Holcombe works with clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing & distribution, not-for-profit, and franchise. He co-leads the education sector of the firm’s Not-For-Profit Client Service Team and has specialized experience with audits for foundations, scholarships, and employee benefit plans. Holcombe is also involved in the preparation and review of the Return of Organization Exempt from Income Tax (Form 990).

A graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Holcombe earned both a Bachelor of Science in business with a concentration in accounting and a Bachelor of Science in business with a concentration in finance. His professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA), and the Tidewater Chapter of VSCPA.
Holcombe enjoys giving back to the Hampton Roads community, serving with Junior Achievement of Greater Hampton Roads on their board of directors and the Chesapeake Bay Wine Classic Foundation on their board of governors.
