Shirley joined the firm in 2001 and has since worked on a variety of middle market companies with sales ranging from $5 Million to $250 Million. She is well versed in strategic tax planning for individuals and their businesses from an income, gift and estate tax perspective. She uses a team approach to bring clients, their attorneys, investment advisors, and other business advisors together to provide optimal solutions.

She has developed a high net worth individual practice for both public company executives and owners of privately held businesses. When Shirley works with public company executives, she forms relationships with their company’s human resource personnel, corporate secretary offices, and outside investment firms who administer company plans. From those relationships, she can develop an understanding of the benefits offered to executives. She takes an active role in ensuring that executives understand their benefits and how to optimize those benefits from an income, estate and gift tax perspective. She also works with executives and company personnel to ensure that all required SEC reporting is filed timely and accurately.
