Government Contracting

Services for government contractors

Government Contracting is big business in Virginia, including the Hampton Roads area where our office is located. Many of the world's largest government contractors are headquartered in Virginia. Some consider federal government work to be a safe haven during turbulent economic times. Others rely on government contracting work for their entire livelihood. Being a federal government contractor imposes requirements on companies not typically found in the commercial market. Justifiably, the federal government requires much greater transparency into how dollars are spent than is typically required in the private sector.

Whether you are an established government contractor or just looking into government contracting, Wall, Einhorn & Chernitzer can help you reach your goals. Our government contracting team has gained a deep understanding of the government's processes and requirements, and how they apply to government contractors.

We have worked with hundreds of government contractors since our firm was established in 1989. We have the in-house expertise to help you adhere to the federal Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Additionally, we are active members of the Virginia Ship Repair Association in Hampton Roads, Navy League of Hampton Roads, Women in Defense, NCMA, and the Virginia Maritime Association.

Our services for government contractors include:

  • Billing and collections processes
  • Contracts administration
  • Incurred cost submission
